A Prayer for Healing and Strength
Heavenly Father, I come before You asking for Your mercy, comfort and sustaining strength. Be near to every person facing sickness, pain, weakness or a difficult season of recovery. Give wisdom to those providing care, patience for each day, and peace when fear begins to rise. Help us trust You in the moments we understand and in the moments we do not.
When You Feel Weak
Illness can affect the body, thoughts and emotions at the same time. Prayer does not require perfect words. You can come to God honestly, name what is difficult, and ask for strength for the next step. Isaiah 41:10 reminds believers not to fear because God is with them, while Psalm 147:3 speaks of God healing the brokenhearted and binding up their wounds.
A Simple Prayer to Repeat
Lord Jesus, stay close to me today. Give me strength for what I am facing, peace for my mind, and hope for the days ahead. Guide the people caring for me and help me rest in Your presence. Amen.
