Father, this loss hurts deeply. I bring You the sadness, memories, questions and exhaustion that I may not know how to explain. Stay near to me in the quiet moments and give me strength for each day.
When Words Are Difficult
Grief does not follow a simple timetable. Psalm 34:18 says the Lord is near to the brokenhearted. Romans 12:15 also reminds the Christian community to weep with those who weep, showing that sorrow does not have to be carried alone.
A Prayer for Comfort
Lord, hold me through this season. Give me people who will listen patiently, memories that bring gratitude, and hope when the future feels unfamiliar. Amen.
